Writing Workshops

with other Writers

Writing Workshops are available to writers of all levels. We operate in a confidential environment where writers can expand their skills and receive feedback from a trained, educated facilitator, as well as other writers.

Our writing workshops consist of five sessions and are offered either on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Writers of all genres and categories are welcome!

Each session offers information on the writing process, feedback on your work, peer support, collaboration, guidance, and plenty of follow up. Plus, we provide tools and tips along the way.

Complete Our Writing Workshop

Step 1: Register for your writing workshops of choice. Complete the registration process including: tell us a little bit about your project (genre, format, topic, etc.), sign a Confidentiality Agreement so we can work in a creative and collaborative environment without the fear of plagiarism, and make your non-refundable $325 payment.

Step 2: Receive information from Provisional Pen that includes; an introduction from your facilitator, information on the workshop process, and material to help you throughout the workshop.

Step 3: Before sessions 2-5, each writer will submit the work they wish to share in the workshop.

Step 4: On the day of the workshop, participants will call in for the 90-minute session. No writing is needed for the first session, but please plan to discuss your project.

Provisional Pen is very professional and creative. Teresa has an absolutely fantastic writing style and provides the best feedback. When I am lost for words, Teresa helps bring my thoughts into reality.

It was a joy working with Teresa. She really took time to listen to what I needed. Her work reflected my vision - only better!

Donna Briskey

I worked with Teresa during the editing process of my Mystery Novel. She was not only proficient at editing, Teresa offered creative ideas on how to improve the storyline believability and chronological order. Additionally, she suggested that I spend more time on character development by creating more intrigue and tension - leaving the reader wanting more. Paving the way for a follow-up book, even a series.

I had worked for the same company for over 30 years. So when it came time to get an updated resume there were a lot of gaps and holes. Teresa helped me fill in those gaps and to understand that even if you have worked in the same position for a long time there are still growth and trainings during that time span. Teresa helped me understand the right places to interject additional information and get my resume current and relevant and to show growth through the years. I used the new resume to help me land a new position with a new company. The new position has been both rewarding and lucrative with more growth potential than my old position. I used Teresa’s services to upgrade my resume and I feel confident that her services would be beneficial to someone just entering the workforce through the seasoned professional.

Teresa took the time to listen and get to know what I needed to update my resume. I now have a resume that accurately reflects my background all on 1 page. I couldn’t have done it without her.
